MariDeck standard vinyl flooring is the embossed, non-slip sheet in two thicknesses. Choose 34 mil for new, smooth decks. For older or uneven decks, choose 80 mil instead.

34 Mil Vinyl Flooring

34 mil marine vinyl flooring is suitable for new marine flooring installations.  However, we do not recommend it for previously used marine plywood, because it does not hide surface imperfections as well as 80 mil flooring.

80 Mil Vinyl Flooring

80 mil vinyl flooring is recommended for any installation, including used marine plywood floors.  Because it is thicker, our 80 mil marine vinyl flooring minimizes the appearance of divots and low spots that are often present when resurfacing plywood floors.

MariDeck standard vinyl flooring installs on wood, aluminum or fiberglass. It comes 72 inches (6 ft) wide for aluminum fishing boats as well as 102 inches (8.5 ft) wide for pontoons. In 34 mil, the width depends on the color, while 80 mil comes only in the 102-inch width.

Adhesive for MariDeck standard vinyl flooring

MariDeck recommends its own adhesive. If you use a different one, it must be PVC-compatible, or it can affect how the vinyl looks, bonds and performs. Of MariDeck’s adhesives, use MD-101 on unsealed plywood, or MD-102 on aluminum, fiberglass and sealed wood. In addition, some aftermarket glues can damage the flooring.
