Woven marine vinyl flooring with the look of teak and seagrass
MariDeck woven marine vinyl flooring is a textured deck covering for boats where the floor is part of the styling. For example, it suits luxury pontoons, cruisers, runabouts and upscale fishing boats. It looks like a woven teak or seagrass deck. However, it is vinyl, so it repels water and needs no upkeep beyond a rinse.
Woven vinyl flooring thick enough for a used deck
The woven flooring is 80 mil thick. Therefore, it suits any installation, including used marine plywood. The thickness also minimizes the divots and low spots that often show up when you resurface an older plywood floor. In addition, you can install it on wood, aluminum or fiberglass surfaces.
What you get with woven marine vinyl flooring
- 102 inches (8.5 ft) wide
- MariDeck’s non-woven polyester backing for easy installation
- Non-slip woven texture that is easy on the feet
- UV stabilized to resist fading
- 8 colors: Colonial, Dune Twill, Jute Gray, Jute Tan, Pillar Gray, Pillar Tan, Teak Gray and Teak Tan
Adhesive and warranty
MariDeck woven flooring is backed by the manufacturer. MariDeck’s warranty covers defects in the material. MariDeck recommends its own adhesive. If you use a different one, it must be PVC-compatible, or it can affect how the vinyl looks, bonds and performs.
Choose the adhesive by the floor surface, not by the vinyl. For example, use water-based MD-101 on unsealed plywood and solvent-based MD-102 on aluminum, fiberglass and sealed wood.
