DuraVinyl flooring is made for both indoor and outdoor spaces. Because it is UV stable, it resists fading in sunlight. In addition, the high-density felt cushion back adds stability and crush resistance. The vinyl is also antimicrobial and phthalate-free, and it is strong and durable enough for heavy commercial traffic.

How to order DuraVinyl flooring
We stock DuraVinyl 8'6" wide and sell it by the foot. Therefore, choose your color, enter the length you need, and we cut it to order. The minimum order is 5 ft.
Check your DuraVinyl before you cut it
Before you cut the material, check the quality, color, pattern and size, and look for visible defects. Once it has been cut, fitted or installed, the manufacturer does not accept claims for those. Also, keep it rolled face out with the cushion in, because a crease or fold can wrinkle the vinyl.
Installing DuraVinyl flooring
- First, let the roll acclimate on site for 48 hours at 65°F to 85°F.
- Start with a floor that is smooth, clean, flat and dry.
- Then apply the adhesive to the floor only, with a dry paint roller or a 1/16-inch square-notch trowel.
- Lay the vinyl once the adhesive is tacky, but before it dries or skins over.
- Finally, roll the floor with a 35 to 50 lb floor roller, and limit traffic for 24 hours.
Woven vinyl typically shows its seams. Therefore, plan for as few seams as possible, and seal them with a vinyl seam sealer.
Adhesive for DuraVinyl
DuraVinyl has a felt back, so it needs an adhesive that works with felt. Therefore, we recommend 390 Professional adhesive. It is on the manufacturer's list of recommended adhesives for outdoor recreational use, and it is water-based.
Cleaning DuraVinyl flooring
- Vacuum or hose it off weekly, so dirt does not become embedded.
- For a light cleaning, use water with a mild soap, such as dishwashing liquid, and a soft bristle brush. Then rinse thoroughly and let it air dry.
- For stubborn stains or mildew, mix 1 cup of bleach and ¼ cup of mild soap per gallon of clean water. Then blot the stain, rinse thoroughly and air dry.
- However, the manufacturer does not advise using bleach when you are surrounded by a body of water.
- Do not power wash, and avoid powdered abrasives, solvents and industrial-strength cleaners, because they can harm the surface and void the warranty.
