What is woven vinyl boat flooring?

Woven vinyl boat flooring is a vinyl with a woven, textured surface. DuraVinyl adds a high-density felt cushion back, which gives it stability and crush resistance underfoot. Because it is UV stable, it also resists fading in sunlight. In addition, it is antimicrobial and phthalate-free.

Where woven vinyl flooring works

DuraVinyl is a favorite for pontoon boats, and it also suits cruisers and yachts. However, it is not only for boats. The manufacturer makes it for both indoor and outdoor spaces, and it is strong and durable enough for heavy commercial traffic. Therefore, it also works for home projects such as gym floors, playrooms and cabanas, and for restaurants, hotels and retail spaces.

Plan your order

We stock DuraVinyl 8’6″ wide, which suits most pontoon decks. We sell it by the foot and cut it to order, so measure the length of your deck first. The minimum order is 5 ft.

Woven vinyl typically shows its seams, so plan for as few seams as possible. Also, when your roll arrives, check the color, pattern and size before you cut it. Once the material has been cut, fitted or installed, the manufacturer does not accept claims for those.

Installing and cleaning woven vinyl boat flooring

Install DuraVinyl with 390 Professional adhesive, because it is on the manufacturer’s list of recommended adhesives. For everyday care, vacuum the floor or hose it off weekly. For a deeper clean, use mild soap, water and a soft bristle brush. Then rinse it thoroughly and let it air dry. However, do not power wash it.
